Majority of the work that I did while at NZME was radio ads. It’s amazing the amount of content you can squeeze into 30 seconds even once sound effects and music have been added over top. As well as writing, I had to choose music, sound effects, voices and often be in the studio helping to direct things for the final edit. At times I was even in the booth having to voice ads, but don’t worry, I haven’t put any of those on here.

This knowledge of sounding, voices and vague directing came in useful once I was at New Zealand Post. Myself and the other two designers that I worked with had to put together videos for our social media channels- this varied between interviews with artists, talks with DOC and the Maori language commission and then making some slightly more light hearted videos of stamps growing into plants.
